Tracing the history of sacred music for Lent and Eastertide during this most holy season -
come with The King's Counterpoint on the first of a 3-part musical journey that will take us across
the Medieval and Renaissance musical landscape commencing with Gregorian chant from the 7th century
and on to Hildegarde of Bingen, Lantins from the early 1400 and Sheppard's monumental 'Media Vita';
continuing on to Palestrina and 'Lamentation I' by Tallis and culminating with
Allegri's beautiful 'Miserere mei, Deus'.
