Join Los Angeles film maker David Marsh as he embarks on a transformational, life changing journey with a group of adaptive divers while they experience zero gravity. His film making process began several weeks before the trip. Little did he know that just a week before the trip with the non profit Diveheart and eight adaptive divers with a variety of disabilities, his son who had been struggling with an opioid addiction would come to his house on Thanksgiving, enjoy a family meal, overdose and die. His life just changed forever. Follow David starts to learn to cope with, and adapt to his new normal while fulfilling his commitment to film and share the stories of these eight amazing adaptive divers, all the while planning a funeral for his son and sharing his news and sorrow with none of them until the last day of the trip. Join David on his selfless journey of loss, sorrow, hope, love, learning, transformation, inspiration and adapting while he imagines the possibilities of the rest of his life's journey without his son.
