The annual Celebration of Excellence Gala is held in support of the 100 Black Men of South Metro Atlanta’s scholarship fund for the award-winning Rites of Passage Academy program. Through the Rites of Passage Academy, male students grade 8-12 are immersed in an engaging program that teaches life skills, leadership development, college/career preparedness, financial literacy, and more.

 

Since its inception in 1990, the Rites of Passage Academy has awarded more than $3.5 million in scholarships to students through donations and contributions received from the Celebration of Excellence Gala.  

 

We invite family, friends, and supporters of 100 Black Men of South Metro Atlanta, in addition to local and national dignitaries to attend this incredible event to support our youth and their future!
