The Odyssey

The Haymarket Theatre continues its tradition of bringing classic literature to life by staging Nebraska-native Mary Zimmerman's adaptation of Homer's epic poem.  The stage will play host to wrathful goddesses, warrior-heroes, and mythical creatures portrayed by our Advanced Youth.  Filled with magnificent poetry and epic battles, the script is deemed , "Not of one age but of all ages...
