Based on the television program Dinosaur TrainTM produced by the Jim Henson Company, an officially licensed event will be held at the Dinosaur Ridge Visitor Center June 19-21. Characters, music and themes from the TV show will thrill 2 through 7 year olds. Several engaging educational activities can also be enjoyed by older siblings and adults.
The $26 fee includes admission, off-site parking and online ticket processing. There is timed entry for this event.
Visitors will park in the field at Dinosaur Ridge: 16831 W. Alameda Parkway, Morrison, CO 80465 (C-470 and Alameda). There will be several educational discovery activities including a dinosaur bone dig, a fossil dig, sluicing for minerals, and dissecting a poop-like material. Other fun activities will include a dinosaur game area, a dinosaur bouncy castle, and a trolley ride through the Time Tunnel into the Jurassic Period.
