VI Productions and Compound Presents are proud to announce Reckless Kelly and Micky and the Motorcars together on Sunday, August 2 to the Emerson Cultural Center’s Lawn in Bozeman at 3PM.
If your last name is Braun, there’s a good chance you’ll end up in the family business.
That business is picking up an instrument – usually a guitar – writing great Americana/Red Dirt music (think indie rock meets alt-country) and touring seemingly non-stop.
The Braun brothers – Willy, Cody, Micky and Gary – have been making records with their respective bands for over a decade, singing a lot about life on the road, heartaches and relationships. Reckless Kelly – singer Willy and fiddle/mandolin player Cody’s band – have been putting out records for over 15 years, attracting fans with songs like, “Wicked Twisted Road,” “Ragged As The Road” and “A Guy Like Me.”
Reckless Kelly are currently touring behind their 8th studio album, "Long Night Moon,” which won a Grammy for Best Recording Package in 2014. The album is the follow-up to 2011's Grammy Nominated "Good Luck & True Love," which took home four Lone Star Music Awards, and sent three singles to #1 on Texas Radio.
Younger brothers Micky Braun, lead singer, and Gary Braun, rhythm guitar, for Micky and The Motorcars, have also earned a solid fan base through constant touring and an equally number of great songs about the rocky relationships and the road such as, “Naive,” “Long Enough To Leave,” “Any Longer Any More,” and “Grow Old.”
Micky and the Motorcars have found their own success after stepping out of their older brother’s shadows and are currently touring behind the 2014 release of their 6th album, Hearts from Above.
Known for their explosive live shows and a passion for making albums of substance, the Braun Brothers will deliver a show not soon to be forgot.

The Emerson Cultural Center is located at 111 S Grand Ave in Bozeman, Montana – chairs are welcome, no pets allowed. Showtime is at 3PM. There will be a 21+ beer garden and food vendors. A percentage of food sales will be donated to Warriors and Quiet Waters.
