2016 Talent Search Show

Helena’s Xpress Singers’ Talent Search Show will feature an exciting lineup of young people vying for a $1,000 cash prize.  Rebecca Egeline, Graham Foster, Faith Johnson, Naomi Kohen, Rachel Martorana, Abram Pocha, Lexsey Van Norman, and Moriah Wagner will each sing one song in the first half of the show. 

After an audience vote, the top four will emerge as finalists, and each of the four will perform an additional song in the show’s second half.  A panel of judges will select the winner of the contest, who will receive the $1,000 cash prize, donated by Friendly’s Sinclair.  Second, third and fourth-place winners will also receive prizes.

Also on the show will be performances by Helena’s Xpress Singers, barbershop quartets from Helena and Missoula, Talent Search alternate Travis Wright, and last year’s Talent Search winner Jessie Cundall.

Helena’s Xpress Singers are members of Sweet Adelines International.  The 33-member group performs for events in Helena, produces three shows each year, and travels to regional Sweet Adeline competition.  New members are welcome.  For more information about membership, or about the Talent Search Show, call Sandy at 465-1460.
