Join the GO Jazz Big Band for an afternoon of exciting, high-energy big band jazz at The MAIN in Old Town Newhall. From swinging standards to bold contemporary charts, the band brings its signature power, precision, and punch to an intimate setting that puts you right in the middle of the sound.
Along the way, the program tips its hat to a few jazz legends celebrating their centennial year, as well as honoring some towering musical voices we’ve recently lost, including Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Tony Bennett, Chuck Mangione, and Gordon Goodwin.
Vocalist Steve Lively joins the GO Jazz Big Band, under the direction of Brian Leff, for featured selections drawn from the Great American Songbook, bringing his signature warmth and swing to the afternoon’s celebration of classic jazz style.
