On June 22, 2024, the Halloween Yacht Club will sponsor and host a fishing competition with participation from local Connecticut veterans as well as some of our seriously wounded and injured service members from the Walter Reed National Military Hospital in Bethesda, Maryland, and Fort Belvior in Virginia.
Honored at the Ceremonies will be WWII, Korean, Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan Veterans, as well as our local First Responders. followed by a large buffet cookout and other activities.
Your donation this year will go to support Operation Gift Cards a program started as a joint venture between the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 13 Stamford and the Military Order of the Purple Heart Derby/Shelton Chapter 1.
