Rich Mafia - Alemán and Gera MX

Alemán, a Mexican rapper from Cabo San Lucas, was born Erick Raúl Alemán Ramírez on February 20, 1990. His solo career began in 2014 with his debut album Pase de abordar (Boarding Pass), released on the Homegrown label. His album Eclipse was a global success, with tours in Mexico, Chile, Argentina, and Spain. According to a 2017 Noisey France article on Mexican rap, he is "considered one of the best Spanish-language rappers".

 

Gera MX (Gerardo Daniel Torres Montante, born July 15, 1994) is a Mexican rapper and songwriter known for his raw lyricism, genre-defying sound, and efforts to elevate the Mexican hip-hop scene. Born in San Nicolás de los Garza, he grew up in San Luis Potosí, where he became interested in rap through freestyle basketball stars battles. As a former member of the MEXAMAFIA collective, he achieved significant commercial success in the late 2010s, making history with "Botella Tras Botella," the first regional Mexican song to enter the Billboard Hot 100. He signed with Sony Music in 2022 and is the CEO of Rich Vagos, an indie label.
