Bear Mountain Hiking Trip

Al-Qaim and Al-Faraj invite you to come hiking on Bear Mountain!

For Ages:  16 & up 

Tickets:  $20

A bus will leave from Al-Khoei Center (89-89 Van Wyck Expy Jamaica, NY 11435) at 8:45AM SHARP, so please be there by 8:30AM.  We will return by 5:00PM.

Once we get to our destination, we will be met by our guide, Br. Hormoz Kheirabi.  We will be trekking a 3.9 mile challenging trail, with plenty of scenic landscapes!  Once at the summit, we will break for lunch, prayer and an engaging discussion.  Then, we will loop back to our starting point.

There is limited seating available on the bus, so buy your ticket NOW!

The trail will be a demanding one, so be sure to be prepared!  You will need to bring with you:

- Lunch for yourself

- Water (at least 2 liters)

- Prayer materials

Please wear:

- Sneakers/boots with non-slip soles

- Long-sleeves and long trousers to protect from insect bites (light-colors preferable as they make ticks easier to detect)
