JOIN US — IN A PADDLER’S PARADISE! — on Saturday, August 16th in Chippewa Bay for some fun in the sun!
If you love hearing the waves lapping against your kayak or canoe, are continually enchanted by the beauty of the 1,864 islands, are interested in exploring and experiencing the calm waters and beautiful scenery in Chippewa Bay, and are excited about winning some AMAZING prizes, then this is the perfect event for you, your friends and your family! We love the river as much as you do and we are excited to help shape the future of our area in positive ways! Please join us in our quest to PADDLE FOR A PURPOSE — with your help and energy we can raise important funds to create recreational development opportunities that your family, friends and future visitors can enjoy in Hammond and Chippewa Bay, New York!
The event will be held - rain or shine - starting at the Chippewa Bay Town Docks with poker run points at various islands in Chippewa Bay. Kayaks, Canoes and Standup Paddle Boards Welcome!

Pre-Registration encouraged by August 1st: $25 Adults / $15 Kids
After August 1st and/or Event Day Registration: $30 Adults / $20 Kids
Kayak Raffle Tickets Available - Enter to Win an elite Old Town "Dirigo" Kayak, and accompanying Life Jacket & Paddle! Tickets are just $5 each or 3 for $10.
8:00 AM – Registration at Town Docks
9:00 AM to Noon – Poker Run Event (No more than 3 Hours)
(1) Additional Card Available for purchase at Registration to Increase Hand
1:00 PM – Awards Ceremony & After Party at Chippewa Fish & Game Club
Prizes from Area Businesses Awarded for Best 3 Poker Hands (Adults & Kids!)
