The  Oaklawn Civic Center Foundation, a community non-profit organization, is hosting its first bluegrass festival on Saturday, September 13. The Lakeland, GA bluegrass music fest will be held on the grounds of the Jim & Mary Threatte Arts & Civic Center.

Gates will open at 11 a.m. for an afternoon and evening of music by four renown bands from Georgia and Florida. The line-up includes: Xtremegrass, Arnold Messer, Big Cypress and The Kings.

Tickets at the gate are $12 and $10 advance.

There will be on-site food vendors offering pulled pork, ribs, fried gator, hot dogs, sausage dogs and a variety of soft drinks.

No Coolers! No Alcohol!
