A concert event featuring music for composed for soprano, alto and countertenor choir - indeed, music to reach to the very heavens!

 

The Kings Counterpoint will cross the centuries, tracing the history and progression of sacred music through the ages - from the Gregorian chant of the earliest of times, The York Mystery Plays (1463-1477) of the Middle Ages, selections from the Renaissance and Baroque and on through the ensuing centuries - right up to modern times via Holst, Blatchly and the premier of a new work composed for The King's Counterpoint!
