BHCCC's 30th Anniversary Gala

Gala Celebrates 30 Years of Offering Help, Healing, and Hope to The Less Fortunate of New York City. Proceeds to Support Beth-Hark Christian Counseling Center, Inc.  

NEW YORK, NY – On Friday, October 9th, supporter, partners and community leaders will join Beth-Hark Christian Counseling Center, Inc. to celebrate 30 years of opening doors to possibilities for more than 26,000 men, women and children annually in New York City. Whether experiencing food insecurity, homelessness, or some other life challenge, Beth-Hark staff seeks to empowers each individual and offer what he or she may need to experience a brighter tomorrow.  This festive event begins at 7:00 p.m. at the Terrace on the Park, 55-11 111th Street, Flushing Meadows Park. Guests will be treated to a cocktail reception and silent auction, followed by dinner, drama presentation, award presentation and live entertainment. The Gala serves as an opportunity for the Beth-Hark to honor local individuals, corporations and foundations that have had a significant role in helping the organization fulfill its mission of meeting the multi-faceted needs of the community.

Proceeds from the event will assist the Beth-Hark in operating the Food Pantry and Soup Kitchen. In addition to emergency food services, Beth-Hark offers case management, pastoral care, mental health counseling, volunteer income tax assistance, services, clothing assistance, family therapy and others that assist the homeless in reacquiring health, housing and employment services.
