CIDER SWIG - the Greater Peninsula Cider Festival
THE CIDERS ARE COMING!
2nd Annual CIDER SWIG to FEATURE REGIONAL CIDERS, LIVE MUSIC, GREAT FOOD & MORE!
The CIDER SWIG returns to Gig Harbor on National Public Lands Day 2015.
A family-freindly event, over 1,200 joined the SWIG in 2014 for a fun-filled afternoon of cider sipping, noshing delectable eats, taking in live music, cider-centric arts, "apple launching", and great fun in the Kids Apple Zone!
Over 50 regional ciders are lined up for the 2015 Swig!
Information on 2015 cideries will be updated weekly beginning June 30th.
Select food pairings will be provided by local restaurants and food trucks like Taylor Shellfish Farms serving up grilled oysters, geoduck ceviche and other delictable fresh seafood treats to the likes of National BBQ Champs Rib Ticklers Barbecue serving up succulent ribs, brisket, and pulled pork!
And, under the 'Cider Tent' regional cidermakers will have those ciders presented at the SWIG for sale to take home.
The Cider Swig Stage will be ALIVE - giving you a chance to 'get your swig on' throughout the day with Driving Sideways. Budapest West, Richard Allen & the Louisiana Connection, Spare Thyme & Billy Farmer.
Presented by the Greater Gig Harbor Foundation's Parks & Environment CAB, the festival will follow on the heels of National Public Lands Day activities in area parks (9am - noon).

*Advance ticket purchase strongly encouraged.
Ticket price includes: 5 cider samples, a commemorative festival glass, access to the Cider Sales Tent, music, food, Cider Talk/Demonstration tent, 'Apple Launch Challenge', cider press demonstrations, and other activities. Additional tokens will be available for purchase at the festival.
ID is required to enter the Cider Garden. Under 21 free entry (no Cider Garden access).
