Our Cause
Forgotten Not Gone was born from the struggle of trying to find an alternative therapy to pain and psyche pills. Forgotten Not Gone is a Veteran 501(c)(3) for purpose charity located in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Nonprofit made its first debut on Veteran's Day in the 2013 Veterans Day Parade. Forgotten Not Gone raises awareness to the public regarding Veteran suicide and provides solutions for Veterans to get out of isolation and reconnect with society.
Currently, 22 Veterans commit suicide daily. Unfortunately, The VA system is only offering pain pills and psyche pills as a solution. However, these 22 Veterans up from 18 Veterans are still dying, almost one every hour. Therefore, it is apparent that the current solutions offered are not effective. Las Vegas has a suicide rate twice that of the National Suicide rate, which is an indication that this is the ground zero location to start helping our Veterans.
The 1st Forgotten Not Gone Healing and Wellness center was opened May 2015. This facility allows Forgotten Not Gone to offer all types of alternative healing rehabilitation for our Veterans free of charge. Our goal is to continue to give back, inspire, motivate, serve and breathe hope back into our fellow Veterans, who were not lost at war but forgotten at home.
