The comics
MARION GRODIN [The View, Conan]
RICH KIAMCO [Howard Stern]
RENEE SANTOS [Showtime]
JAYE MCBRIDE [Maine Comedy Festival]
Headliner:
MARION GRODIN
The View, Conan O'Brien
Marion started out as a staff writer for the network sitcoms It's a Living and Princesses, was put under contract to Twentieth Century Fox, and later went on to sell six screenplays. Just as she was about to embark on her seventh screenplay, it dawned on her that her father had not lovingly nicknamed her "Mouth" for nothing; she decided it was time to start saying all these funny things she was writing for other people to say. So, for the last decade, she has been one of the hottest comics in the country. A headliner at New York City's top clubs, like Standup NY and Gotham Comedy Club, she has also toured with Linda Ronstadt, opened for Lewis Black, Judy Gold, and Robert Klein, and shared the stage with Jerry Seinfeld, Dave Chappelle, Roseanne Barr and Robin Williams. Marion has also been seen on NBC's Late Night with Conan O'Brien, and ABC's The View. She also worked as the Charles Grodin Show's comedy producer, making regular appearances on the MSNBC show, as well as conducting comedic celebrity interviews. For two years, Marion also hosted her own radio show for CBS, where her guests included friends like Lisa Lampanelli, Jerry Stiller, Anne Meara, Kyra Sedgewick, and Lewis Black. Marion knows firsthand that laughter is truly the best medicine, having survived breast cancer, divorce, and various addictions, including an inappropriate relationship to Häagen Dazs. Her Memoir, Standing Up: A Memoir of a Funny (Not Always) Life, came out last year.
RICH KIAMCO
Louie Anderson Live - Las Vegas, The Howard Stern Show, Boston Comedy Festival
Rich's comedy career began as the costume designer for comedian Judy Tenuta where he eventually began performing with her as her back-up dancer in Las Vegas, on The Howard Stern Show and venues nationwide. He received the Overall Excellence Award at the NY Fringe Festival + Best Solo Performance at the Montreal GLBT International Theatre Festival and has performed on campuses and venues across the USA, Canada, China and the Philippines. Rich was featured on BRAVO's Queer Eye For The Straight Guy, has had multiple appearances on OutQ Sirius XM Satellite Radio, appeared on The Wendy Williams Show, The Boston Comedy Festival and recently opened for Louie Anderson in Las Vegas. Rich's podcast We There Yet? is available on iTunes and Soundcloud.
RENEE SANTOS [Showtime]
Santos burst onto the national comedy scene 2 years ago with her celebrated appearance in the "outrageous" Showtime stand-up comedy special, "PRIDE COMEDY JAM." Most recently, she earned Residency at The Broadway Comedy Club in NYC and performed along side Comedienne Wanda Sykes in the Dominican Republic for the 40th Anniversary Olivia Cruises Punta Cana Vacation.
JAYE McBRIDE [Boston Comedy Festival, Maine Comedy Festival]
Jaye is a transgender comedian who's been featured across the country from NY to Vegas. Being transgender doesn’t just mean she’s a great target at roasts; it has also given her a uniquely dry and self-deprecating sense of humor that will leave the audience laughing and feeling bad about it.
