The O'ahu Choral Society opens its 20th season with the glorious sounds of George Frederic Handel.
Featured in this concert are some of he most beloved excerpts from Handel's oratorios and operas, as well as the majestic Coronations Anthems. These four anthems were composed for the coronation of King George II and Queen Caroline on October 11, 1727 and have always been popular, with the anthem Zadok the Priest being performed at all subsequent coronations.
OCS will be performing this concert with musicians from the Hawai'i Symphony Orchestra.
