Come Join us on November 19th, at 5pm in Grace Covell Dining Hall on University of the Pacific's campus.
With your $5 dollar admission you will pick a ticket that will represent 1st, 2nd, or 3rd world. That ticket will then determine your meal for the night. If you're in first world, you'll receive a 5 course meal, eat with fine china, and be waited on by Bon Appetit staff. With a second world ticket you'll dine family style with others at your table and third world will be sitting on the floor with rice and beans. Your meal, like your birthright, will be the luck of the draw!
We will have speakers coming to talk about the discrepancy of wealth and food injustice in our own society, and you'll learn about ways you can continue to reach out to others less fortunate then you. All proceeds will be donated to Second Harvest Food Bank and the first 100 people will get a free t-shirt!
This will be a fun, educational and socially responsible event for all attendants.
Brought to you by The Council for Social Entrepreneurs, and funded by the Pacific Arts and Lecture Series.
See you there!
