was an event like none other - and gave us some of the most incredible choral music of the day!
Compositions by Purcell, Blow, Gibbons, Tallis, and of course Handel's glorious Coronation Anthems -The King's Counterpoint is thrilled to bring the pomp and majesty of The Coronation of King George II to Charleston!
With a program taken directly from the actual order of service, graciously provided by Westminster Abbey, our concert will guide our audience through the day of the Coronation, from the first fanfare to the herald's call - and with all of the pomp and procession that such a landmark event deserves!
Trumpets and drums, processions and glorious music - our May concert event has it all!
Online ticket sales will conclude at 1:00pm, 15-May,
but will be available at the door on the day of the event!
