SHHH...SECRETS

“Shhh… Secrets,” is about a group of worship Leaders who have to face life outside of the church, the only place they can truly be vulnerable and unashamed. As a worship Leader, I personally understand what it means to be given a gift and have it sheltered in the church. But then we have to face the world, which heaps our past, regrets and insecurities back on us until we’re able to be back in the throes of worship, where we cast them off again. These worship Leaders confront suicide, mental illness, abandonment issues, loneliness, substance abuse and a multitude of shortcomings that, if they weren’t also threatening to undo them, would remain secrets.
