Wounded Warrior Ukraine is proud to present Credenza, the inaugural film of our new initiative-- the Contemporary Ukrainian Cinema Project. Ukraine is home to a vibrant community of filmmakers with deep roots, and we are excited to share the best of modern Ukrainian film with Boston audiences. We aspire to grow this film series to become a regular feature of the cultural landscape in the city. Please stay tuned for announcements of future dates and titles.
Written and directed by one of Ukraine's best young filmmakers, Valentyn Vasyanovych, Credenza is a film about inheritance and legacy, for individuals as well as for a country. It asks us to contemplate what is foundation of our lives and what is dead weight.

Valentyn Vasyanovych is perhaps best known for his impressive cinematography and editing work on the award-winning film The Tribe. He is, however, also an accomplished writer, director, producer, and even composer. Credenza is his second feature-length film.
All funds collected at the event will go to fund our psychological rehabilitation and abilitation projects in Ukraine.
Please join us for this thought-provoking film. Coffee and tea will be served.
