Uptown is a BYOB with great acoustics and an excellent atmosphere located downstairs at the Piazza in Jenkintown.  There are 2 entrances: one on York Road (309 York Road), and a second from the parking lot behind the building (corner of Greenwood Ave and Leedom St).

About The Musicians

Victor North Quartet, featuring tenor saxophonist Victor North, Craig Ebner-guitar, Lucas Brown-organ, Byron “Wookie” Landham- drums.

Saxophonist Victor North migrated south from Alaska to Philadelphia to immerse himself in our rich jazz culture. Since landing he’s worked with Mickey Roker, Charles Fambrough, John Swana, Terell Stafford, Jimmy Bruno, Duane Eubanks, and Jymie Merritt, and spent five years playing with the Afro-Cuban jazz pianist, Elio Villafranca. Most recently North leads his own group, Three Blind Mice, works with Orrin Evans’s Captain Black Big Band, and holds court running open mic jazz night frequently at Chris’s Jazz Cafe.
