As you know, the 2020 Three Forks Rodeo was one we were really looking forward to (and we hope you were too). We couldn't wait for you to enjoy the rodeo from our brand new grandstands. But unfortunately, plans changed. On July 28th, the Three Forks City Council unanimously decided to cancel the 2020 rodeo due to safety concerns amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
If you've been to the rodeo, you probably remember the old bleachers, which were donated 40 years ago when Montana State University upgraded bleachers inside the fieldhouse. Those seats long outlived their usable life, and for the past 18 years, we have been saving to replace them. This January, we began the project to acquire new ADA accessible bleachers to improve guest safety and accessibility. We had planned for this year's rodeo to help cover the cost of the bleachers.
Unfortunately, circumstances threw a wrench in our plans. While we can't get together in person, we would ask that you consider donating the $15 you would have spent on your rodeo ticket to the fundraising efforts for the new bleachers. Your tax-deductible donation towards this project will have a significant impact on the community and will be appreciated by rodeo goers for years to come. Please visit our Bleacher Backer page on our website to learn more. We appreciate your continued support of the Three Forks Rodeo, especially during these unprecedented times.
