Join us on Jan. 15 for the MLK lecture on 'The Impact of Silence' by Yvonne Renee Davis, an internationally renowned leader in cross-cultural communications, negotiations, strategy and diplomacy. The CEO of Davis World Training, Ms. Davis has travelled to more than 60 countries, working with communities, organizations, agencies and governments during both the Obama and Bush administrations. From Tokyo to Jerusalem to Libya, Ms. Davis has helped train leaders in communication strategy and development.

In her long career, Ms. Davis has served as Commissioner of the Permanent Commission on the Status of Women, Vice President of the Global Women's Issues Forum, and was a board member on the World Affairs Council of Connecticut, and the Al Waref Foundation, a Middle East think tank. She has been a columnist for The Huffington Post and Arab News, and even worked with the NFL on cross-cultural awareness.
