The land seemed healthy and beautiful when they settled. Trees were huge and bountiful. The members of the town decided they wanted to keep the woods as a part of their communities. The majority of comments from the townsfolk were, “We will build around them, they will protect us and we will be able to protect them.” The town began with just a few homes until others heard of this near perfect area, thriving and happy townsfolk, and prospering community. Each new home contributed a family, children, happiness, a new profession to help this utopia quickly bloom. Until they found it, came to the realization that this beautiful tuft of land was just a cover for the poison below it. The history has been forever changed…altered…bloodied…crushed forever. Here is their story. This is their punishment, as it continues.
