"Heaven on Earth"

Often we think of heaven as the place we will reside in the afterlife, but could it experienced here on earth?  One definition states “heaven is a spiritual state of everlasting communion with God.” That is possible here on earth.  Jesus taught His disciples to pray, saying “Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”  His desire was for God’s Kingdom mindset to manifest on earth, but what does that look like?
