Track-Side Bar-B-Q Cystic Fibrosis Cacklefest
This Track-Side Bar-B-Q Cystic Fibrosis Fundraiser kicks off the biggest drag racing event to hit San Diego County in more than 40 years! The entire Drag Racing Community, Barona Drag Strip, Local business, and Event Sponsors have rallied together with a plan to re-direct the high levels of interest and energy surronding this big event into raising public awareness about a youth debilitating disease called, Cystic Fibrosis.
This event is filled with outdoor summertime family fun that will allow all in attendance to experience very special and rare opportunities to be "one on one" with many famous race car drivers and their very exotic drag racing machines. There will be endless opportunities for autographs, pictures, and even a chance to sit in the driver’s seat! The entire Staging lanes will be filled with race cars and a booths that will be hosting a wide verity of entertainment and fundraising activities that will all be in the accompaniment of great Bar-B-Q'ed foods, live country and 60's bands, game, raffles and more. All of the proceeds raised at this event will go to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation for medical research and programs to help the many families that are challenged by this disease.

WOW! All attendees will be treated to some very special exhibition runs from the “Headliner Cars” that came for Saturday’s Main event! These exhibition runs will see; The Most Famous Nitro Powered Fuel Altered in NHRA’s History “The Wing’d Express” Wheel Standers; “Crazy Horse Mustang & the E-Ticket PU Truck, Nostalgia 1963 Top Fuel Dragsters ; Chris Karemasines “Chizzler” and TV Tommy Ivo’s “Barnstormer” and more! “Sounds like fun is definitely in the forecast”
Event tickets are all inclusive and include; Free parking, Food, and Entertainment. Gates open to the public at 4 pm. Food and Festivities begin at 7 pm and end at 10 pm.
