The Nick Vallas Memorial Golf Tournament

As we’re sure you all know, the one year anniversary of losing Nick is approaching. We’re anticipating this to be a difficult weekend for us all, so we've decided to organize an event in celebration of his memory.

We're putting together a memorial golf tournament for Nick’s friends and family. We hope to have an all-day event sometime over Columbus Day weekend, followed by a commemorative dinner. We know you're not all golfers, but we hope to see all of you at the dinner.We're planning a scramble tournament, with prizes for the best team, longest drive, and so on. Over the next few weeks we'll be finalizing the location both of the tournament and of the dinner. Hopefully this will become an annual event. In addition to memorializing Nick, we plan to use the opportunity to raise money for charity. This year, all proceeds will be donated to the Children’s Tumor Foundation, the non-profit that is sponsoring George, Paul, and Nick’s mom Mary to run in the New York Marathon this November. CTF is a wonderful organization devoted to finding a cure for Neurofibromatosis. Check out our team page here:
