"A Conversation with Mara Prater, Associate Program Manager for the "Made in NY"Production Assistant Training Program.
Multimedia artist Mara Prater is currently the Associate Program Manager for the “Made in NY” Production Assistant Training Program. This free job training and placement program is co-sponsored by Brooklyn Workforce Innovations (BWI), a nonprofit organization, and the New York City Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment (MOME). Since 2006, the “MINY” PA training program has provided young adults in the New York City area with the skills, knowledge and contacts they need to start a career in TV and film production.
