"Everyone thought he was a made guy including himself." The Joe Baccala Story chronicles the life of a self proclaiming wise guy Joe Baccala, his friends, and long-time girlfriend Gina Rizzi. The film is narrated by Joe, Gina, and childhood friend Billy C.
The Joe Baccala Story (2011) has been selected as a feature presentation (10/13/2012) in NYC's New Filmmakers Fall Film Festival 2012. The film's really addresses mass media's portrayal of Italian American stereotypes and how many adopt those images in their everyday lives.
The Joe Baccala Story was filmed in CT, MA and NYC. Written and directed by Rocco Mesiti, Ed.D.
