"Everyone thought he was a made guy including himself." The Joe Baccala Story chronicles the life of wannabe wiseguy Joe Baccala, his friends, and longtime girlfriend Gina Rizzi. The film is narrated by Joe, Gina, and childhood friend Billy C.

The Joe Baccala Story has recently beeb selected as a feature presentation at NYC's New Filmmakers Fall Series Festival (2012).

The film really addresses mass media's portrayal of Italians and those who use those images in their everyday life. The Joe Baccala Story was filmed in CT, MA, and NYC was was written and directed by Rocco Mesiti, Ed.D.
