On December 25, 2012, Barry Maden a long time resident of North Nashua sustained severe head trauma following an accident while visiting family in North Carolina. He was in the intensive care unit for 2 weeks on a ventilator and was then transferred back to New Hampshire for rehabilitation of his traumatic brain injury. Beginning Christmas Day Barry has received excellent medical care and has been surrounded by a supportive network of friends and family. However, his medical team estimates his journey to a full recovery will take several months to years.
Barry is a devoted father of three beautiful children. Anyone that knows Barry would say that his smile lights up the room and he is quite the comedian. With that being said Barry’s dedicated friends and family created “Team Barry” to show their support. “Team Barry” has grown immensely over the past several weeks and “Team Barry North” has organized a fundraiser for the family to help defer the expenses due to the loss of income and unexpected medical bills that they will endure. Our fundraiser for Team Barry North is being held on Friday, March 15, 2013 at Alpine Grove in Hollis New Hampshire, which will include a night of comedy followed by a performance by the band, the Casuals and a Silent Auction.
