Taiwan College of Performing Arts

Established in 2005, the Taipei Physical Education College Acrobatics Performance Team (TPEC) intitially recruited students specializing in diabolo, jump rope, shuttlecock and cheerleading, then slowly expanded to include juggling and stunts.  TPEC currently has 50 students, not only has won numerous awards; but also has gotten frequent invitations to perform both domestically and internationally.

TPEC has previously performed on behalf of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Council (OCAC), Taiwan (R.O.C.) at the celebration of 2008 National Day, and the celebration of 2006 Presidential Palace National Day, as well as the Dodgers' exhibition game in Taiwan.  TPEC has also been invited to sowcase a performance integrating the traditions and modern culture of Taiwan at the Lincoln Center, Swiss Auditorium and German television station, which was very well received by the audience everywhere.

Come join us in celebrating this fabulous performing arts group on May 16th 2013.  All of the proceeds of this fantastic event will benefit both the Centrai Falls, RI High School and Central Falls Public Library.
