Texas troubadour and blues rocker Hadden Sayers headlines the New Smyrna Beach Blues Festival on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at 5pm at The OM Bar & Chill Lounge, 392 Flagler Avenue, New Smyrna Beach. Tickets are $15 in advance. Tickets available online through Ticket River or by phone 386-423-2727.
Former guitarist for Ruther Foster and Blues Music Awards' Song of the Year nominee, Sayers is doing what he does best: he's hitting the road. Hauling a refurbished 1962 Airstream trailer christened "The Rolling Soul Emporium" behind his 1961 Chevy Bubbletop Impala to select gigs, festivals, and surprise pop-up appearances around the country, the bluesman is rolling some soul into New Smyrna Beach. Not simply a method of travel, the trailer is a mobile manifestation of Sayers' love of music and the road.
