Elizabeth Dehner finds herself newly employed on the Enterprise, and overwhelmed by a hyper and flirty Kirk. But Kirk is soon distracted by the distress signals from another ship, The Valiant. He directs the ship to go after their fellow ship, but in the process they run into a radioactive field. Dehner and nerdy librarian Mitchell are hit and develop superpowers that slowly take over their sanity and they begin to take over the ship..?
