Darnetha is a former music industry executive with 15 years of experience in the entertainment industry. She holds a B.A. in communications and an M.F.A. in film production. She freelanced in film and film festival production before landing at EMI Music Publishing where she rose through the ranks to become the vice president of film and stage.
Darnetha has negotiated hundreds of music deals for TV, films and musicals, and led her team to generate millions in annual revenue. She has mastered the art of blending creative vision with an understanding of fiscal management and entertainment law.
She has a proven track record of successful client relationship management, project management and strategic planning. Darnetha holds memberships in New York Women In Film & Television, Independent Film Project, Theatre Resources Unlimited and New York Live Arts.
