Caribbean American Heritage Month Festival (CAHM)
Join us on June 23rd to enjoy a truly Caribbean Experience in the heart of downtown Orlando....Lake Eola from 12pm - 8pm will be turned into an island paradise. It will be as though you just stepped off the cruise ship on to the island to enjoy it for a few hours. We'll have Caribbean food, drinks, cultural shows and entertainment - including dancers, junkanoo, stilt walkers, steelpan, carnival and few different zones -
A kids area complete with bounce houses and activities for a truly family friendly experience. The day will start with a kiddies Carnival - costumes are available. Please contact us for further information on that portion of the event.
- A Business Zone from 12 pm - 4pm - Prior to the entertainment getting into full swing - drop by the Business Zone and meet with companies doing business in Central Florida. This portion of the event is being coordinated by the Caribbean American Chamber of Commerce of Florida Inc...for more information email caccforlando@gmail.com. Booths are available.
- A Health & Wellness section with free health screenings, massages and much more
- Food - Enjoy a taste of the islands with a diverse array of foods from Guyana, Trinidad & Tobago, Jamaica, Haiti, Puerto Rico and so much more.
- Drinks - for the adults - enjoy the beers of the Caribbean. Sit under the tent and enjoy the entertainment on stage as you enjoy a cold Carib - the beer of the Caribbean, or a Red Stripe, Kalik, Prestige or Banks - your favorite island beer will be available.
