In honor of The Year of Italian Culture in the USA and Giuseppe Verdi’s Bicentennial Celebrations, the Consul General of Italy Mauro Battocchi, the Director of Italian Institute of Culture Paolo Barlera and the President of Comites Romana Bracco request the pleasure of your company at an intimate recital of Italian opera arias and Neapolitan songs performed by Italian tenor, Pasquale Esposito, to benefit the once-in-a-lifetime performance of the Verdi's Requiem at the War Memorial Opera House on October 25, 2013. Pasquale Esposito has graciously donated his performance in support of his beloved hometown of Naples, Italy to assist in the uniting of the esteemed and talented musicians from Teatro di San Carlos of Naples, Italy and the revered San Francisco Opera for a historical event paying tribute to Giuseppe Verdi. Pasquale Esposito is an international touring and recording tenor. He was born in Naples, Italy and immigrated to the United States in 1988. Thereafter, he pursued his passion for music by studying at San Jose State University’s School of Music under the direction of Professor Joseph Frank. In 2009, he received a degree in vocal performance specializing in opera. Pasquale has released 6 full length CDS and is presently working on his 7th album that will be a Spanish version of his CD: A Brand New Me (2009). He is currently touring with his last release “Il TEMPO” which is a double CD comprising of music spanning from 1880-2011. Concert tour includes: September 28 at the Gallo Center for the Arts in Modesto, October 5 at the Heritage Theatre in Campbell, November 10 at Yoshi's in Oakland and December 14 at the Menlo Atherton Performing Arts Center in Menlo Park. Pasquale is presently working on a concert/documentary focused on the life and career of Italian tenor, Enrico Caruso. Pasquale has teamed with a dynamic crew to present a musical concert on the Amalfi Coast on September 3 &4, 2013 at Castello Giusso in Vico Equense.
