Pasquale at Carmel Mission Basilica
Italian tenor, Pasquale Esposito, shall perform an intimate concert at the historic Carmel Mission Basilica on Sunday, April 27, 2014, at 7:30 P.M. Pasquale is an international recording and touring artist. He is originally from Naples, Italy and completed his studies in vocal performance at San Jose State University's School of Music. Throughout Pasquale's training, he emphasized his focus on classical opera as well as pop-opera.
Although Pasquale is classically trained, he enjoys performing Italian, Neapolitan, American and Spanish standards arranged in his distinctive style. He has released several full length CDS and currently tours both nationally and internationally. At the Carmel Mission Basilica, Pasquale Esposito will perform Opera Arias, Neapolitan Songs, and some of his Original Compositions, accompanied by a classically trained concert pianist, Russell Norman. This acoustical performance will provide an opportunity for audiences to enjoy and up close and personal concert where Pasquale Esposito's voice can truly be appreciated.
The concert will also feature Lebanese soprano, Mayssa Karaa. Karaa is a graduate of the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston. Most recently, she was featured in the Oscar nominated filme "American Hustle's" soundtrack performing a new Arabic version of Jefferson Airplane's White Rabbit. She is presently touring nationally and internationally promoting her new debut solo record. She will team up with Pasquale once again to perform duets and solo pieces that will give audiences a taste of her enchanting and powerful vocals.
A portion of the profits of the ticket sales will benefit the Carmel Mission Basilica and Notable Music and Arts Organization. For more information about Pasquale Esposito, visit www.pasqualeesposito.com.
