The Fly Fishing Film Tour is brought to Parker by The Wildlife Experience. All proceeds from this event will benefit Wildlife Experience and support the programs and exhibits of the museum.
This event will be hosted by Kirk Deeter. Kirk is the editor of TROUT magazine and an editor-at-large for Field & Stream. He is co-host of that magazine’s “FlyTalk” weblog at fieldandstream.com, and also the editor-in-chief of AnglingTrade (the industry magazine covering fly fishing in America). Kirk is the author of four books, including The Little Red Book of Fly Fishing (co-authored with the late Denver Post outdoors editor Charlie Meyers).
We will be exhibiting Surface Film IV, a fly fishing photography exhibit that speaks to the soul and culture of the sport. The exhibit is curated by the Greenbacks, a conservation group operating within Trout Unlimited to promote native fish and their habitat through the engagement of the next generation of Trout Unlimited members. Proceeds from the sale of these photographs will support the Greenbacks.
