Shenanigans - Comedy, Magic, and Mischief
One of Hollywood’s favorite comedy magicians, Tucson native Eric Buss, will return to his hometown this holiday season to perform a full show of his award-winning comedy and magic. Shenanigans: “Comedy, Magic and Mischief for the Whole Family,” will make its Tucson debut December 28, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. at the Temple of Music and Art. ?
Known for the inventive and comedic twists he infuses into his magic routines, Buss has made a name for himself as one of the most original acts in magic today. Two of Hollywood’s other most in-demand variety acts, multi-award winning illusionist Danny Cole and champion juggler Ivan Pecel, will also share the Shenanigans stage.
“Just as the name implies, Shenanigans will be a night full of magic, laughs, mischief and mayhem, the perfect end to the busyness of the holiday season,” said Buss.
“I grew up performing at the Temple of Music and Art and I am thrilled to debut Shenanigans at a venue that I call home in front of the always fantastic Tucson audiences. “
Buss has spent nearly two decades performing his one-of-a-kind blend of comedy and magic around the globe in a wide array of venues such as Bagram Airfield for the U.S. troops in Afghanistan, London’s Her Majesty’s Theater for a royal command performance, Hollywood’s World Famous Magic Castle, and some of Los Angeles’ top comedy clubs. Buss’ television appearances include “The Late Show” with David Letterman and “America’s Got Talent.” He will be closing “Shenanigans” with his signature Spring Snake Symphony routine which Letterman called, “Sensational, Tremendous and Beautiful.”
Special guest act Danny Cole grew up in Southern California and was a junior magic prodigy member of Hollywood’s famous Magic Castle. There, he learned his craft and started to make a name for himself at a very early age both on stage and on television, appearing in numerous Lance Burton and international TV specials. Today, he is considered one of the most original creators in magic, touring the world with his modern, sly and sleek illusions and breathtaking sleight of hand skill.
A world champion of juggling, Ivan Pecel represents the new breed of variety entertainer. His show is hip, fast-paced, unpredictable, funny, edgy, and skillful, and is enjoyed all over the world on cruise ships, theater shows and on college campuses.
