Ever been frustrated by a dysfunction government? Ever wished somebody might show up and take officials to task for incompetence and corruption? Nikolai Gogol’s Russian farce The Inspector Generalprovides evidence that people have been asking those two questions since at least the 1830s. This fall, the Weston High Theater Company opens the 2013-2014 season with its own original take on the classic satire, with a new version of the script—and new songs—created through improvisation by a company of thirty actors under the direction of Drama Director John Minigan.
