Join us as we start the season with the MSO dipping their toes into familiar and beloved jazz numbers featuring Minot-raised vocalist Jasmine Spitzer. We will be premiering Concerto Nova, a new work by local composer Erik M. Anderson for electric cello and orchestra, featuring our principal cellist Dr. Erik Anderson. You won’t want to miss the iconic Leonard Bernstein’s Symphonic Dances from West Side Story, Gershwin's Cuban Overture along with familiar works recorded by Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Michael Bublé, and Aretha Franklin. We will also feature principal clarinetist Dr. Charles Young on Autumn in New York.
In-person tickets are available at www.minotsymphony.com or call 701-858-4228.
*The livestream link will open at approx. 5:50 pm with the pre-concert talk at 6pm and performance at 7*
