As a parent, I just do not have any faith in my children receiving
any education through https://proessays.org distant learning. At this point, after much
consideration of many issues, I truly do not think there is a need for
schools to reopen this year in any form. Kids are going to get cheated
out of an entire academic year after already missing 3 months in
spring. Just reopen when it is safe to do so, but do not continue to
put billions of dollars towards education when students are not actually
going to being educated. Maybe give parents a subsidy so they can
enroll kids in Outschool or purchase learning materials. When schools
can safely reopen assess the kids and then put them in the appropriate
level. And our district has great teachers but it is abundantly clear
that they will not have received what they need (training, tech, etc) to
be able to effectively teach remotely come August. Let’s take the
pressure off everyone and call a spade a spade. Most kids in public
school will not be educated this year.
