Join your Daytona Waverunners Women's Tackle Football Team for our First Home Game of the Season. Your Daytona Waverunners will bring our high powered offense and "Purple Reign" defense to beautiful New Smryna Beach Sports Complex on Saturday June 5th as we host the Miami Fury at 7 p.m.
The Waverunners are part of the Women's Football Alliance (WFA), which began play in 2009. The WFA is full-contact, 11-on-11 football, with 70 teams worldwide.
“Waverunners are prevalent here in Daytona, and we have a lot of players on our team that like to run,” Williams said. “So we came up with the Waverunner offense. We have a team that doesn't give up and sets the cutting edge. We have a bunch of leaders.”
“We have a multitude of backgrounds, from former military and a current Daytona Beach police officer to a couple of nurses and an accountant,” Williams said.
Your Daytona Waverunners practice at Hollyland Park on Tuesday, Thursday, and Fridays, and get a great gym workout and study film at Club Fitness Daytona on Mondays.

Your Daytona Waverunners are LOOKING for players who want to prepare for the 2022 football season by joining our 2021 practice squad. Experience is not required and we are seeking all positions (QB, RB, WR, OL, DL, LB's, DB's).
You must be 17 or older. The practice squad is a great opportunity to get a head start on next season, by practicing with our 2021 team.
