Spring Into Art
Spring Into Art with MCHS and ABC
MCHS Academic Boosters
Club’s seventh annual event showcasing arts education at Mariposa County High
School is happening Friday, March 24, starting at 7 PM at Fiester Auditorium.
The event is taking on some fresh new directions this year.
ABC, in conjunction with
MCHS, is reinvigorating and diversifying the event with a new name (“Spring
Into Art”), and new branding and exhibits, while still presenting all the wonderful
art programs available to MCHS students in what is sure to be a thoroughly
entertaining evening. All are welcome at this family friendly event!
New features include a
student DJ before the show and during intermission; welding student work
displayed out front; a sausage making demonstration by Agricultural Foods &
Processing students; and Senior Project art demonstrations. This year’s
event will have an improvisation theme.
Performances will continue
to include: Grizzly Band, Dance Club, Drama Club, Chorus, and
special appearances by some of Mariposa County middle school musicians and
drama students.
Popular local musician Adam
Burns will once again make a guest improv appearance.
Student artwork will be on
display and for sale in the lobby before the show and at intermission.
Delicious treats made by Agricultural Foods & Processing students will also
be available for sale.
You may have seen Arts
Night before, but not like this!
Come support MCHS students,
check out the wonderful programs available to them through the high school and
the fantastic results of those programs, and enjoy an entertaining evening with
family and friends at the same time.
