Title of this concert is taken from Movement Five of Vaughan Williams' Five Mystical Songs and will also feature Schubert's Mass in G and short compositions by U.S. and Canadian female composers. Featuring Orchestra Gloria and William Lee Bryan, Baritone.
A native of Saint Paul, Minnesota, Bryan’s “large, ingratiating baritone” impresses audiences across the United States, where he has performed opera, operetta, musical theater, and concert works across the United States (Minneapolis Star Tribune). As a member of the San Francisco Opera Chorus, he has appeared as the Captain and Zaretsky in Eugene Onegin, the Officer in The Barber of Seville, Sergeant in Manon Lescaut, and sang multiple solos in Billy Budd.
The concert will run approximately 1 hour. Due to the prevalence of the flu and RSV (not to mention covid) in the bay area we ask that audience members wear a mask for this performance.
