Hey folks. Sorry we didn't do this sooner, but the organizers have decided kids 12 and under get in for free.
Long Island, known in Irish as Inis Fada, has long been deprived of the Irish music festival it deserves. Now, after two years of Covid postponement, we are happy to be having the First Annual Inis Fada Fleadh (pronounce it Flah). On the weekend of June 11th & 12th, 2022, we will be hosting the Narrowbacks, Sporting Paddies, Clear the Battelfield, Canny Brothers, the McLean Avenue Band, Bangers and Mash, Andy Cooney, and of course, Derek Warfield and the Young Wolfe Tones. The Fleadh will be held on the grounds of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, 495 North Ocean Ave., Patchogue, NY 11772.
There are plenty of hotels in the area, the location is just north of Sunrise Highway, and five minutes south of the LIE, and a quick ride from the Ronkonkoma LIRR station, or up the road from the Patchogue LIRR station (same one you take to Montauk).
Proceeds from this festival will help the parish of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, Hope House Ministries, and Hibernian Charities.
